Directory Bids is a paid directory where you can list your site by placing bids. To get your site listed an initial bid of only $1 is needed. The higher the bid, the higher the exposure.

When you add your link to the directory, you only have to place a bid of at least $1 to activate your listing. when you add your link to the directory, it gets sorted by the first letter of your listing title.

Within the categories, only 10 listings are shown per page and the listings are sorted by the highest bids. So the higher you bid, the higher your listing gets placed within the category. The top five highest overall bids, also get exposure on the front page.
