How can i improve my site position?

Hello all, I've a website which is related computer training. Now it is coming 238 position at Google's SERP. Can anyone tell me 'How can i improve my site position on google except Directory submission and Articles Submission?'. I'm waiting your response.

You can start by not dropping links on forums like this....

Do Like I do!!! submit to directories and eventually you will start to improve...the more you submit the more they will come....Join forums like this one...don't spam...be patient.......

Because spammers are doing that... Instead of contributing to the forum they just drop links and spamming the forum... A bad idea.... Tsk.. tsk..
