Essential plugins for PHPLD

What do you reckon are essential plugins for PHPLD owners?

Pagerank, custom meta tags and descriptions

I don't think the page rank plug-in is very important and I have disabled it in my new directories. Focusing on page rank is pretty much useless now because the toobar is 5 months outdated and chasing PR just gets Google angry.

I like the tag cloud mod, if used in moderation. Deep links is also a must for adding extra value to your customers. I have also been adding a coupon mod to all new projects to make it easy to have discount promotions.

Pr export is happening right now. Have you noticed?

Toolbar export seems to have started a few weeks ago but was abruptly stopped. Now it seems like some sort of manual downgrading of PR is occuring. I have not seen, nor heard of any PR rising so I don't think it is an export. The export might be next though.

I think this question is more dependent of what type of directory you're running. I guess all of them are important depending on your purpose and the less popular become extremely important is you know how to use them.

I have found great results with some mods and used them in way that was not intended to, be creative the way you used them.

What I recommend is the phpLD Expansion Pack available at http://www.phpldaddons.com - it's free and it has many mods integrated. More than that, you can choose to turn them on and off directly from the admin area. There's no need to edit php and tpl files anymore.

It's a must have, especially if you're starting a new directory
