phpLD: writing permission?

Hi,

I justed downloaded my first phpLD script, I unzip the files and read the install.txt. In this documentation on "basic installation" in No.2 stated:

2. Change permissions on the following file and four folders to 777 (writing permissions):
- include/config.php
- temp/
- temp/adodb
- temp/cache
- temp/templates

If the folders do not exist please create them.

What does it meant exactly? How do I changed it? Thanks
