Wich is the best free directory script?

In your opinion which free directory script is better to use? I use phpld because i think is more popular and also many people recomand it.

Can be made comparisons between eSyndiCat free v1.6 and phpld v2.1.3?
Which is better ? But what about the rest?

but i love indexu script. its paid but it is a very nice script.

Since inception, i use eSyndicat and i like it.

Their support seems little bit poor though nowadays.

I also vote for IndexU, I am using it and a proud user, though I believe they could work on their support abit, it seems like there are still a lot of unanswered issue(s). Though it's paid. Free version is limited.

I like them both
But for a newbie like me I find eSyndicate alot easier
to manage and configure, changes are easier.
As well as link approval. (multiple by page)

I still have trouble fixing or changing things in my PHPLD directories, and I can't (still can't) find where to approve more than 1 link at a time!
