link checker?

Does anyone have a handy script for checking all the links in thier directory?

I've got all the URLs in one table, so ideally I'm looking for a simple PHP script that will check each one, and then report back (by writing to a file or a table) which URLs return anyting other than status 200.

I could probably come up with something, but anyone out there has a link checking script like this that works, I'd appreciate it if you could share it with the forum.
