I've got just over 100 now,
used to be about 50 more but when renewals
came around I just let some drop - cause I don't
know the difference between a "good" domain and a
"let it drop" domain!

and at least 14/22 of my recent drops were picked up
at auction - they could have got it cheaper and faster
had they just contacted me first :lol:

Even though I've been doing this for a decade, I only own about 20 domains or so. I'm more of a quality over quantity guy.

Thats very true quality will beat quantity any day

I have about 20. I usually buy domains in my niche of interest, put some information on it (write it myself), get a 500 directory submission for it, and let it be there for a while. Then i'll go back to it after 6 month or a year and do some real work on it.

On a side note about domains....

I signed up for an account with parked.com and parked 50 of my unused domains there. To my surprise, some of them were actually getting traffic! The average amount Im getting paid with parked.com is about 23c a click and I'm doing about $20/day off those domains.

Not going to run off and buy a yacht or anything but that's $600 a month from nothing

Where does that traffic come from? Just type-ins? Or if you park with parked.com, do they add you to their custom search or something like that?
