What is the Difference between Yellow Pages, White Pages and Directories?

I want to know what is the difference between Yellow Pages, White Pages and Directories?

It looks quite a similar.

Yellow Pages means organized list of businesses.

White pages are just like yellow pages but it have a residential listings instead of Business listings.
