Web Directory & Article Directory PR Updates

(5)I have just run our PR update script on both the web and article directory lists. There were 1,790 PR changes in this update out of around 3,600 resources listed. Looks like a big shakeup, I noticed that quite a few directories have dropped down in PR on this update.
I think you will need to run the script again, there have been more changes today, my directory biz-dir.co.uk got a 5/10 wohoo!
yeah.. the uk datacenters always seem to be a week later than everywhere else…
PageRank update was divided into two steps this time. The first update meant updating homepages mostly, the second one which came on 24-th, 25-th of January, meant updating many internal pages. However, the update isn’t finished yet, some datacenters contain old data, some of them contain old links data and it will take about 1-2 weeks until Google starts showing SERP based on actual PageRank values.
You also might notice changes in “link:domain_name…” query. It shows less links than in beginning of January, however number of links haven’t dropped.
I just got back from vacation, I will run the script again 🙂
